A body of a man has been recovered on the tarmac at Sheremetyevo International Airport, Moscow, on Tuesday, November 20.
After a Boeing 737 which was bound for Athens took off, the body of an unidentified person was found on the tarmac and recovered. Emergency services launched a probe into the accident.
According to Russian media, the boarding ticket of the man was discovered at the site of the accident. The pilots of the aircraft reportedly told local emergency services about the crash, which happened while the aircraft was taxiing on the runway. However, the crew decided to go on with the flight, as the emergency equipment on the jet did not go off.
The airport's press service revealed that the identity of the victim had been determined, and his belongings handed over to local police for investigation.
