Authorities are currently investigating an airplane crash at Greenville Downtown Airport.
According to Greenville County Coroner’s Office, two died in the crash - one at the scene and another at hospital. Other two were transported to hospital, but there is no information about the extent of their injuries.
The Falcon 50 aircraft ran off the end of Runway 19 at about 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, and crashed on Airport Road. The FAA and NTSB are now investigating the cause for the accident.
Greenville County Fire Department, Greeville police, and EMS are on scene.
The airplane is registered to Lewes, Delaware-based Global Aircraft Acquisitions LLC.
