A commercial airplane crashed into a lake located in South Sudan on Sunday, September 9, and killed twenty people, a local official announced.
The 19-seater commercial Baby Air aircraft had been flying from the capital, Juba, Taban Abel Aguek, minister of information for town of Yirol, said.
Officials are investigating the cause of the plane crash.
Among the dead are at least 3 children and Yirol's bishop, authorities said.
The 3 survivors are a 6-year-old kid, an adult man and Italian doctor with aid organization who is in surgery in serious condition.
The official said of the crash site that there had been people everywhere.
Yirol is situated in the central part of the East African country.
