Five people were taken to hospital after a 1930s aircraft crashed during an airshow in Abbotsford, B.C.
According to the Abbotsford Airshow the plane “experienced difficulties on the airfield” that left “5 onboard with various injuries.”
Witnesses said that the "older-style airplane" had been seen rocking from side to side before aircraft's wing had clipped the ground. The plane smashed nose-first into the runway.
A couple of the plane's passengers were airlifted from the scene, while three others were transported over land.
