One person died following a plane crash at Wonderboom airport, Pretoria, paramedics confirmed today, July 10.

Earlier reports said 20 people had been injured after an airplane, marked "Martin's Air Charter", crashed at the airport. 

Spokesperson Ernie McCarthy has confirmed the accident and that Emer-G-Med paramedics had been attending to the scene. 

Details about what led to the plane crash were not immediately available.
