Jetstar Airways resumed flights to Bali, after the 2nd eruption of Mount Agung volcano within a week forced the carrier to cancel flights to the island.
The airline said its senior pilots had assessed the volcanic ash conditions at the tourist destination, finding them safe to fly in.
Jetstar will run 18 flights between Bali and Australia/Singapore today, November 26, while 3 flights from Perth, Townsville and Singapore remain cancelled.
The second time since Tuesday the volcano spewed smoke hundreds of metres into the air, forcing residents to flee and grounding international flights.
Earlier, at least 4 Jetstar flights and 1 Qantas flight between Australia and Bali were diverted.
A Virgin Australia flight out of Pt Hedland also turned back.
Garuda, Indonesia AirAsia and Batik Air are still operating.
The last major eruption of Mount Agung was in 1963 when nearly 1100 people were killed.
